This recipe is a great way to use up leftover beef from your weekend dinner, you could even use pork or lamb. Although, in this house we don’t always have leftovers!
Buying a bigger piece of meat not only gives you the added benefit of a super fast leftover meal (this one takes just 15 minutes!!), but it cooks more evenly and is so hard to make dry, say hello to juicier, tastier roasts.
Ingredients
- Leftover Beef, cubed
- 1 red chilli, fine chop
- 1 red pepper, 1cm dice
- 1 onion, 1cm dice
- Cup green beans, large chop
- 1 sachet Hoosin Sauce
- 2tbsp olive oil
Prep: 5 minutes Cooking Time: 10 minutes Total Time: 15 minutes Serves: 4
- Heat the oil in a wok and fry onion and chilli until soft – we use mild but make it as hot as you like!
- Add the pepper and green beans and fry for 1 minute.
- Add the sauce and beef and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Serve with rice or noodles
