This is the quickest and easiest cream sauce you will ever make! I made it when all I had in the cupboard was pasta and chicken in the fridge, what goes better with that combination?

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Single cream
  • 1/4 cup Chicken stock
  • 1/2 tbsp cornflour

Cooking Time: 10 minutes       Serves: 2

Method

  1. Pour the cream in a medium saucepan until it starts to bubble, add the chicken stock.
  2. Add a tablespoon of chicken stock to the cornflour and mix together to make a paste before adding to the sauce.
  3. Bubble until thickened and serve.
